Game Day's
August
Century Coaching offer young players in school years 4/5 to 9 with hardball experience the opportunity to experience competitive 40 & 20 over a side games during each week throughout the summer school holiday's.
With most junior club cricket focusing on the shorter 20 over a side format, young players often do not have the opportunity to experience a longer form of the game unless they play representative cricket or until senior cricket at the age of 13/14.
The 40 over a side game day offers the opportunity to improve skills in a longer game format, learn new skills required and enjoy the experience of participating in a longer game. Whilst the 20 over a side game day offers the opportunity to improve skills in the shorter game format, learn and apply new skills for the shorter format and enjoy the experience of participating in T20 cricket.
Please not we strictly operate a minimum and maximum numbers policy.

What can my child expect to be doing? |
Our 40 over a side game day's are dedicated for younger players to experience a longer format of the game, that they may not experience in club cricket.
The day starts with an extensive pre match warm up that prepares the young player for the day. After a short break for the coin toss the game will start with a full 40 overs per side being bowled per innings, with no bowler, bowling more than 8 overs each. Our T20 Game day consists of two 20 over a side games, this provides fun opportunities to enhance game experience during the course of the day. We aim to play our T20 games with a white ball. Each game will be fully scored using the latest scoring technology to provide a range of statistics for each participant. |
